Junior enterprise and entrepreneurial behavior in Brazil

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze what the influence junior enterprise environment on entrepreneurial profile and intention university students difference in behavior between who participated did not participate enterprises. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative approach based multivariate data analysis using confirmatory factor structural equation modeling was applied a sample 549 respondents. Findings Participation enterprises influences development students’ more than their intention. This study presents which behavioral characteristics are mostly developed with participation enterprise. Research limitations/implications questionnaire perception conditions self-assessment indicators; collection by single cross-sectional research design; scope research, use probabilistic sampling. Practical implications assist higher education institutions having accurate understanding role stimulating entrepreneurship. To implement an effective education, companies can be fundamental action for HEIs, valid courses all areas. Entrepreneurial practical context, as case company, increase Originality/value fills gap uncertainty effectiveness developing students, at least when considering company part presenting robust methodology large country.
